Icon Prescription Frame

Only been wearing them a few days but they are the best safety glasses I've worn for carpentry. I got the progressive prescription and they are perfect. The fit and feel are great. Was a little skeptical at first spending the money on them but definitely worth it and Peter is great at customer service. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

I purchased from Hyspecs because they’re a local Albertan company, something I love to support! I had to email to inquire about prism prescriptions, as it’s not directly shown on the site - but Peter was extremely helpful getting me an invoice.

Due to being a custom lens order, they took slightly longer than their usual predicted ship time. But only about a week more. It only took a few days to get to me (near Edmonton). Peter was very communicative throughout the process.

The frames fit perfectly, stay on my face, and are lightweight. They’re stylish enough to use at work and as regular frames, especially with the removable side shields (huge money saver). But one of the things I’m most impressed with is how CLEAR my vision is. Most online orders have enough of a discrepancy from my prescription that my vision is a little off. These are crystal clear.

My husband and one of my coworkers (both with prescriptions) already are looking to get themselves a pair when their benefits roll over.

Lightweight, sturdy, stylish and best looking prescription safety glasses I’ve ever worn. I’ve had “Wiley X’s” and “On Guards” but those brands just don’t make frames as stylish as Hyspecs’s.

Have had these for 3 months now and they started cracking around the frame. Of course just after the replacement warranty period. I work 7/7 shifts so I could say that I only use them half the 3 months I’ve owned them. Never been dropped or abused. Stored in the baggy that it came with when I ordered, and then stored in the padded eyeglass pocket of my work backpack.

If this is how it looks like after 3 months then I imagine it wouldn’t last till my Optical Health Benefits reset.

Was able to get a replacement frame through warranty. The customer care/service is unmatched. Peter is was helpful and accommodating about my issue.

Was given few tips about preventing damage to the frames. Apparently some chemicals could weaken the material of the frame, one of the listed ones that would apply to me would be Sunscreen. I work outside and recognize the fact that I’m not stronger than the sun, so I use sunscreen.

Will try my best to take care of this new frame and only time can tell how these will hold up. I still think these are the best looking prescription safety glasses out there.

I really like my hyspecs, both prescription and non prescription versions. I recently bought the prescription transition lenses (that darken when it is sunny) and they are the best yet. I had a frame break and Peter was really on top of the warranty process. Great to have a business who really supports their products.

Very nice glasses. And snappy looking! Also, as someone who needs to take them off frequently to see things close up, that they stay on my forehead predictably is a big bonus.
